Pros
Professionally, these were my formative years. Training mostly focused on soft skills and leadership, but ultimately set me up for my career after P&G. You get to work with so many strong/driven/smart people, that outside the training programme, the on the job experience and learning is incredible. I'm glad I worked there, but also glad I left.
Cons
For career progression, travel and role rotation/diversity is mandatory. If you don't/can't do that, then you won't progress past a certain point. Not a criticism, P&G is global, so I think it's important to have some element of this. It just can limit career progression for some. If you want to specialise in a technical or engineering career, again you will quickly hit a glass ceiling. P&G is a predominantly Marketing driven company, and Product Supply is a necessary inconvenience, to maintain competitive advantage through speed to market. PS is mostly focused on cost savings, rather than true (costly) innovation.
