Pros
- P&G is an excellent place for professional growth, especially if you are at the start of your career or fresh out of college. - You learn something new every single day and as a manager given ample opportunity to demonstrate the lengths you are willing to go to deliver your targets - Out-standing use of tools and focus on learning of new ones with an attitude of continuous improvement. Absolutely spot-on for training leadership with great skills. - You are rotated to new assignments every 2 - 3 years so there's usually no stagnation - Good all-round compensation system and flexible in terms of leave management
Cons
- Terrible work-life balance, especially if you're in manufacturing or product supply - Your career is only as good as your manager can let it be. If you can't play politics, don't expect to be able to get rewarded in an outstanding manner. - Certain functions and offices tend to have more benefits vs others. - Salary is "competitive" so it's not one of the top-payers. Manufacturing/Product Supply functions usually pays much less than other functions. - Weak in retaining talent because of the above so most of the expertise/mastery and investment in people's capability gets lost over time.
