Promote-from-within policy is applied; thus, company is willing to invest A LOT in each individual's development. Each role has a structured roadmap of growth. Line manager is partially evaluated based on his capability of growing his direct reports. Both hands-on practice and in-class training are available.

Cons

Roles/Assignment are over divided. The scope of each role is a fraction of the responsibilities carried out by the industry average. Each individual need to go through multiple assignments to be well-rounded in the function. (Marketing, Sales, Product Supply, etc)

Very good company from culture point of view...Good for diversity.Career options are good for upper level & technician level people.

Cons

Not good for the career of middle level employees.examples:personal who are either M.Sc or MBA and are under technician level are treated like ITI technicians.It creates a lot of frustration in this group.No value of their qualification....They are treated like literate technicians...No career plans for them...So suggestion for this cadre of people is not to join P&G at this level if u r getting some other option outside.
