Pros

- lots of flexibility in your first year - you have real ownership and responsibility for your work - lots of support, albeit not always good, from managers if you need it - ok salary and perks - company car if you're in Sales

Cons

Slow career progression Overly bureacratic, too many acronyms used that few people really understand Very slow, often takes ages to get simple internal processes done Success is based more on relationships with managers than actual contribution to team Lots of driving in your first year Your locational preferences are not guaranteed

Pros

Multiple assignment and/or career opportunities. Major businesses with Billion-dollar brands. Opportunity to work independently, innovate, influence others, work with consumers.

Cons

Severely limited advancement opportunities unless a minority or female. Compensation for tenured employees limited - raises few and far between.

Pros

Inspiring environment, space to execute own ideas, respect from middle and top management. The work life balance is on a good level. Good people in the company.

Cons

Company is huge and the internal processes tend to be rigid and ineffective. Procter indeed offers to employees numerous trainings, which are in a way great, but on the other hand, PG gives you through its management and trainings the whole prescription on how to think and behave, it is on borderline with brainwashing.
