Pros

The work is challenging, but rewarding.

Cons

Pay descrepancy between different ABMs is definitely the worst part of the job. Undergrad ABMs come in at $60,000 per year (in 2007 at least) while MBAs come in at $85,000. This $25,000 per year difference does not change until you have been at the company for 5+ years. DO NOT WORK HERE AND GO GET YOUR MBA UNLESS YOU QUIT AND GO TO GRAD SCHOOL FULL TIME.

Pros

P&G pays very well and you will learn a great deal while on the job. The hours will be long and stressful but the experiences will look good on any resume. In addition, the skills you learn at the entry level and lower manager level will be translatable to any job. This is a good place to learn for a couple years, pay off some loans and the decide what to do.

Cons

The management at this company lacks leadership. Decision making is consensus based which translates to a lot of passive-aggressive behavior. People are scared to state their opinion because that may not be the party line at the time. Open discussion does not occur. People withold information to gain power. They don't collaborate unless you have something that can help them. This is not a team environment with us against the competition. Risk taking is not encouraged even if potential gains are huge. Failure is not accepted so people don't take risks. Performance feedback is limited even if you meet all your goals with flying colors. This place is all about fitting in. Creepy, big brother is watching culture. If you have any independent thought think twice.

Review of Cosmopolitan Cosmetics

Pros

We worked with wonderful luxury fashion brands and get connected to fashion trends. It's high paced and highly detailed work. Cosmopolitan Cosmetics was a global company but locally allowed to run as an independent company. There was a high level of autonomy as all decisions about running the business in the country were done locally.

Cons

Don't expect glamour and glitz in this business. The cosmetics business is not all fun and games. Its a lot of hard work around about meeting numbers, monitoring targets & tracking measures. Note: Cosmoplitan Cosmetics company was acquired by Procter & Gamble and it took 4 years for employees in Asia to be integrated.
