Pros

The professional development opportunities and ability to move across the company is phenomenal. In my 8 yrs with the company, I started as an engineer in a plant, moved to corporate engineering, and then moved to Purchases. There are so many opportunities for internal and external trainings that are offered free of charge that we take for granted. As a buyer, I have opportunities not just to purchase materials but permanently affect markets. This develops you professionally to deal with company assets and industry responsibly. For those who work hard and want more responsibility to demonstrate your capabilities, the company gladly gives it to you.

Cons

Bureaucratic, not agile, amount of leadership input required to make a decision

Pros

From the first day, you are given career guidance and they have an excellent new hire "on-boarding" training. This exposes the new employee to all the relevent people, systmes and value of the organisation.

Cons

Very competitive environment, were people do not easily share information with each.
