Pros

P&G is a stable company that can provide a lifetime of opportunities and challenges. Once you are in the door, there is no limit to what you can do. They also do a great job at helping people assess their nature talents and abilities and working with them to find a role that fits. The pay and benefits are great! Yeah they both have been managed for different economic times, but they are still heads above the rest. You can live very comfortably on a P&G salary.

Cons

P&G is a giant, bureaucratic monster. Decision making is held very high up in the organizations. This is very difficult sometimes and slows them down tremendously. And of course, P&G is in Cincinnati.

Pros

Practical experience and benefits. It's very well respected in the industry.

Cons

Sometimes feels like the military- very structured. Not as open to how newly absorbed companies do things. Many employees float from assignment to assignment and are so concerned with their promotability they step all other others on their way up.
