Pros

It's a promote from within company. If you show leadership potential coupled with consistent business results, you will be rewarded tenfold

Cons

Very competitive environment. Everyone is rated agains each other in a given function within a level and the bottom ranked employees are counseled out of the company.

Pros

A great place for learning and growth opportunities, coming in from and acquisition to the Procter and Gamble company is an exciting and scary thing. However once initial fear of what analysis says on behalf of the company being acquired ends, those fears dissipate quickly. It is great to see how well P&G will accept you into the company that has been building for years, with cross functional training and the companies backing to grow as an employee and a person who appreciated values and principles of the company it is a wonderful place to work for overall.

Cons

hard to be completely involved being at an off site location

Pros

You learn a lot, you get developed and invested a lot and have lots of responsabilities that build on your skills as a professional. P&G is literally a great school to develop amazing leaders.

Cons

There's a huge difference in the career paths between functions (i.e. Mkt vs PS) and even when being so transparent and everything they can find a way to slow down careers because its a path of resistance so they tengo to squeeze people as much as they can and promote them when they are about to leave.
