Pros

It's very secure. The company gives all employees ~10% of their salary worth of stock each year as a retirement benefit. The stock has been growing well. People are friendly, for the most part. There's a free cafeteria serving lunch every day.

Cons

My department required 45-55 hours of work per week. I was FLSA-exempt, so this was without overtime. There was a lot of grumbling and dissatisfaction about the direction of the department. High turnover put pressure on us all to complete the projects of others. The culture is very political. There was a lot of laziness, CYA-behavior, and finger-pointing. They're really cheap. For example, employees are expected to share hotel rooms on business trips whenever possible
