Pros

PwC is really pushing flexibility with your schedule, as well as making big strides in new technology, considering we're "Going Google" here at PwC and moving to the Google cloud and email for our work. PwC is also great at supporting women in their careers. Love the exposure to big clients and having PwC on the resume.

Cons

Some difficulty with work-life balance for a young professional without a family but teams and higher up managers are getting better and better with flexibility

Pros

Great place to learn and gain experience (both technical and interpersonal) over a short period of time. Also has great benefits (health insurance, vacation, retirement), although does not seem to be enough for the effort/ hours.. Constant opportunities to try something new/ grow (if you can get off your current teams/ projects). Also, co-workers are great and the environment is team oriented.

Cons

A lot of hard work, no work/ life balance. The nature of the work/ projects didn't allow for a feeling of accomplishment (i.e. once you finished an audit you'd start another, never seeing a project from start to finish). Also, you may be put on projects you do not have an interest in but will be stuck due to resource demands (may result in having to sacrifice personal goals/ commitments), depending on how high profile/ workload. Mixed messages from the firm vs. managers on using "flexible" schedules and "eating" time. The pay is great, but I don't think it makes up for the hours put in.

Pros

Work with very intelligent and ambitious individuals. Great opportunity to view multiple fortune 500 company's operations. Good job for new graduates with little to no job experience.

Cons

Poor treatment and pay for the number of hours required. Very little appreciation from partners. Business model relies on significant turnover from new associates.
