Pros

Good exposure to work on multiple clients' projects, good resources and learning opportunities as there are many trainings provided to keep the employees updated with the current standards and framework. Good starting point for your career. Benefits wise are ok, not great but average.

Cons

Do your own research before joining this field, it is not for everyone especially Internal Audit/ IT Audit. Workload wise, slightly lesser than Financial Auditor - but still required to work long hours during peak periods. Seniors & management are advised to instil inclusivity among the newly joined team members - proper support and guidance should be given for the first 3 - 4 months.

-Employees are smart, driven, and hard-working -Pay is great for new staff -Work events and travel opportunities are hard to beat

Cons

-Depending on how PwC organizes your schedule determines how "easy" your time will be. While some only get staffed on 2 engagements throughout busy season, others (myself included) will be staffed on 10+ engagements. When it comes time for performance reviews, employees who had many billable hours dedicated to only a few engagements will score higher than those that were only scheduled for a few hours on 10+ engagements. For this reason your success can feel like it is based on luck / what you're scheduled on.
