Pros

The level of politics is relatively minimal compared to investment banking and private equity. The people are friendly and treat one another with respect. The culture maintains a very high level of professionalism.

Cons

It takes a long time to make partner and the compensation at the partner level is not terribly attractive. In addition, you are underpaid until you make partner, so it can be a bit disheartening at times knowing that you could get paid much more if you left.
