Pros

Depending on your project work can be engaging Good benefits Relative flexibility surrounding working hours People within the business are generally friendly, competent, and professional Nice office

Cons

Absolute lack of transparency surrounding pay rises, promotion, and lay offs You can be overworked Disconnect between Line of Service (PwC UK) and management within Operate Pay is below market rate for competent workers All pay is banded with minimum consideration for high performers No overtime, time of in lieu was recommended to me on a project where I rarely had the chance to take time back Return to office policy in place without any consideration for commute time or applicability depending on role/project
