Pros

Many people in management who will listen to and act on feedback from anyone regardless of title, lots of goal-oriented and self-driven engineers who work well with people, great onboarding resources for new college graduates, and plenty of opportunities to take on new technical challenges.

Cons

Difficult to strike a good work/life balance (and management constantly encroaches on it), limited growth and advancement opportunities given Qualcomm's current corporate outlook. and a fair amount of inter-office politics at the executive level can make it hard to certain things done.

Pros

i dont see anything that you wont find elsewhere. only pro i can think of is you have a job and you are getting paid regularly

Cons

not sure about other teams but for us, no innovation, no scope to learn anything. doesnt add any value to your resume. no proper channel to assign work (work doesnt get assigned by your lead. anyone with an equal or higher title can walk up to your desk and dump work on you and your lead will be totally in the dark). about more than 95% of the work is unnecessary and can be automated. matrix management system is the worst way to review an engineer. the manager drafting your performance review has no interaction with you on a daily basis. a week before the review, you will be asked to summarize everything you worked on during the last review period. this causes many people to spend 10% of their time working and 90% of their time projecting their work and making sure everyone THINKS he/she works too hard. the perfect recipe for disaster
