Pros

I am a new graduate and I am getting my own office.

Cons

Engineers you work with are not bright. You are rewarded by how much (quantity) grunt work you do not how smart you work and seeing the big picture correctly.

Pros

If you want to get engineering experience, this is a great place to be because Qualcomm does venture into every new wireless product available. Also, it is easy to approach experts in different areas and get one's technical curiosities satisfied.

Cons

The company culture is of workhorses, people literally seem to be working like crazy for no good reason. The prioritization of everything is always "critical", and it need not be. Easy to feel burnt out or sitting among robots. Not much scope for growth if you want to rise up quick. The review system does not really give much insight into rewards for job well done. The immigration system sucks so don't event thing about joining if you need a green card or something.
