      Job is challenging. Don't get bored. Always things to do and take initiatives.

      Pros

      Cool products, training, lots of things to learn if interested.

      Cons

      Almost impossible to progress unless in the favourites list of management. Stupid excuses for not giving raises even if people excel. No guidance and real support to individuals who want to develop. Not even clear differences on what management want from each different level of engineer. Eventually talent leaves as there is no real progression.

      Pros

      I love the people I work with, EMC provides an unbelievable amount of training resources to learn/polish skills, RSA is putting all of its resources into solving (in my mind) the right security problems out there today. I can't talk enough about how good the training is for pre-sales engineers.

      Cons

      Turnover and inconsistent performance highlight a tough transition to RSA 2.0 that is still in progress. I think we'll get there, but there's more work ahead.

      Indian COE is usually stagnant. Technical career path is limited and management path is typically rife with politics
