      Pros

      - You get incites to network security technologies and market. - Average work-life balance. - Lots of scope for skill enhancements.

      Cons

      - Incompetent recruitment process. - Politics across the board. - Lack of motivation. - Uncertainty prevails in the company at all time. - No clear communication from top management to site level management. - Lack of live project. 90% products has been move to CE mode. - Poor HR department. - Dull work environment.

      Pros

      After 3+ years of working with RSA-Bangalore, the only pros I would say is you get a good sneak peek of core Security Technologies.

      Cons

      1. Full of politics. Almost all of management is full of lobbyists.
2. Flawed recruitment system . Examples:
--You can see relatives getting in so easily with mere skills & credentials. Brothers, cousins, spouses all in.
-- if you do not have a 'godfather' or 'godmother', dont even consider applying for a job here in higher position.
3. In-competent managers in QA. No technical skills. You need to be very careful while handling them.

      Pros

      RSA has great benefits and their guidelines on employee rewards and compensation is very fair. However, how the guidelines are applied is at the discretion of each manager. I have been very lucky to have worked for 2 fantastic managers who both treat me with respect and reward me for my hard work.

      Cons

      Although RSA was bought by EMC many years ago, they have maintained a separate identity and kept their family-feel. In the last couple of years, RSA's merge into EMC's identity has rapidly progressed and they are losing that autonomy that makes them unique and a fun environment to work in.
