Solid learning experience, stressful to work for

Pros

Environment will quickly instill cybersecurity, leadership and functional expertise. With limited investment, P/E ownership and constant change, it is a very difficult environment to work in, so people who are successful there are very good.

Cons

Much is unnecessarily kept a secret by the executive team/VPs. This makes employees feel on edge. People can't work well and focus when they are on edge. It also leads to gossip and drama that was distracting and could be avoided. At least one, sometimes more, big layoff per year. They could be more humane about this by giving more severance and longer notice. I have observed some RSA senior leaders are slow to make decisions, holding back the rest of the employees from driving results. Also, I have observed it is not a very diverse environment, lacking particularly in women and people of color in director-level and up positions. Management spends a lot of time gaining alignment across silos.
