      Pros

      Work-life balance. Work pace is slower than my pace. Technology is cutting edge. Peers are great to work with. Pay is decent. Benefits are good

      Cons

      Movement for career growth is hard. Lack of communication from upper management. Seems people get promoted based on seniority, not effort. Fewer diverse LT members. Tracking your time is tedious and doesn't lend itself to make improvements unless you have permission at every step of the way

      Pros

      Large company, major business unit of Raytheon Company which is a major defense contractor. Starting 4/1/2013, RTSC combined with Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems to become Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services business unit. Numerous avenues for career growth, good benefits, solid business model and potential.

      Cons

      Frequent reorganization. Tends to be high-priced on contracts which limits the number of contracts they win in this competitive environment. Cross functional team management structure causes a lot of cost and schedule overhead, slow to make business decisions, slow to change.
