Pros

Flexible 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) Great team and boss Current team is very flat organizationally so a lot of exposure to leadership Opportunities to work on exciting and challenging projects and assignments A big emphasis on learning, diversity, etc. Pretty good benefits

Cons

Sometimes too much bureaucracy to deal with so great ideas can get lost in the mix It takes a while for "change" to take place because the company is so large Very engineering-focused, which can sometimes be a challenge for non-engineering functions

Pros

Surrounded by very professional and talented people, very few managers micromanage, technical challenges daily. Pay and benefits are pretty much competitive (if on the lower side of industry averages) so this keeps a lot of employees from leaving the company.

Cons

Overall a good company to work for, but if you want to advance you will need to search and apply for new jobs in the company since very few managers help you out in this regard. In the last year the company has had multiple layoffs causing a very stressful workplace. It was especially discouraging that some good employees were chosen to be laid off over others that appear to be part of the "good ol' boy network".
