Do exciting work, innovative work Good about developing new talent Allow lateral movement around the company Solid core products

Cons

The company is pretty large and at times the bureaucratic processes can be confusing and daunting, this is on top of the huddles one has to jump through working with government consumers

Outstanding "worker-bee" people - terrible management

Pros

Engineering and support staff are outstanding - great to work with, go out of their way to help, do whatever is needed. Great people to work with.

Cons

Management is out for themselves - don't care about the staff - only their bonuses. Rarely promote from within. Total lack of inter-division cooperation.

They have good benefits and diversity.

Cons

It's a perfect example of big "Corporate America". It's all about the bottom line and Wall Street. I liked it better when it was Hughes Aircraft Company.
