      Pros

      competitive pay that might not be as high as some others but the ability for management to progress your career is as good as I have ever seen. They also would provide regular gifts that make you feel more appreciated than most other companies.

      Cons

      the benefits arent as good as I would have thought from such a large company but they may be a result from Obama's medical bill that was recently passed I heard it used to be better.

      Overall a good place to get your feet wet for an engineer, but not a place for professional development.

      Pros

      Working for Raytheon will expose you to a number of competent and experienced individuals. There is a lot to be learned from the older peers as long as you can find the right programs to work on where you can interact with these people.

      Cons

      The management team tends to be very disconnected from the people who they lead, often making decisions that run counter to the information they are given. The ability for younger engineers to advance and develop is hindered by the lack of focus by management on the topic.
