Cons

-Hard to move up quickly in the company. -Promotions are considered before gaining input from shareholders.

Pros

Offers competitive salary. Diverse workforce, lot of opportunity to work outside core expertise. Like most tech companies it does not have a culture where working over weekend is almost mandatory. 9/80 schedule means every other Friday off, which offers great benefit and almost addiction.

Cons

Working with government means lot of rules inhibiting innovation and efficiency. Have to fill up time card every day which is hilarious. It means people signed up for a project cannot work in other project, which is single largest contributer to inefficiency.

Pros

great people, great perks, great environment, great projects to work on, great growth opportunities. Raytheon is a really interesting place to work and you will always feel like part of the Raytheon family

Cons

Not much to say about the cons of working at Raytheon. The only thing I would improve on is that management does not really give you a clear direction on certain projects.
