Large company and plenty of opportunity to move . Salary. The work environment at the appropriate level. Committed to respect and diversity. The 9/80 work schedule. Internal Training and the access for employees for technical information. The availability of tools to perform the job.

Cons

Matrix organization. Multiple levels of supervision creates an opportunity for confusion an who your customer really is. There are stil areas in the organization that are "stove-piped". Indivuduals can get lost and become over.

Interesting projects, products, and a lot of nice people at the working level.

Cons

Employees are treated as commodities. I was laid off 2 weeks ago. After being told on a Monday morning I had 2 hours to clean out my office and turn in my badge. I had a lot of work on my project and was being asked to work overtime. The program manager could not believe I was being laid off. There was no plan for anyone to pick up and cover my work. It was a complete screw up. My section manager was calling me the week after my layoff asking me how to find the data files I was working on.
