Flexible work schedule and good work life balance. Great people to work with. Solid company and benefits. Job security and some room for progress Although like most big companies you can get lost in the system if you dont make the necessary effort to get visibility.

* Employees are treated well and with respect. * Work vs. family life is never an issue. * Friendly coworkers and relaxed atmosphere. * Good benefits package. * Continuing education is encouraged.

Cons

* Managers are afraid to give honest estimates, therefore impossible deadlines & ensuing schedule overrun are the norm. * Managers are not technical so they let programmers run the show. * No software development process used for any project (not even waterfall). * Making necessary infrastructure changes is harder than pulling teeth.

There was a variety of work available for employees to get involved in when they know what direction they want their career to go into.

Cons

Knowledge sharing among employees was a major issue. Older employees held onto valuable information in order to shield themselves from younger employees coming in and "taking their jobs".
