Pros

Decent benefits, great place to work if you get the right supervisor/program to work with. At least in my case, management has been very supportive in flexing my time in order to take care of family health issues.

Cons

Very small frog in huge pond. Difficult to get noticed for good work if assigned a low profile/priority program. I have had, on occasion, senior engineers try to imply that my ideas or good work was theirs, and had to set things straight( if possible ).

Pros

I believe the pay is decent and the work interesting. There are opportunities to move forward with your career and they seem to support that quite vehemently. There is also a lot of different kinds of work to be done. They support education and letting you do what you want. They try to let you pursue what interests you if it is possible. It has been an interesting play to work. It would be nice to know more about the inner workings of the company.

Cons

Not having a security clearance can be a problem. Or not being able to get one. It is very bureaucratic.

Pros

Biggest Pro: Cross functionality mixed with upward mobility makes long term career promising! Great experience for new college hire, huge name growing company, strong interraction with a variety of types of people and functions/departments, work/life balance, potential career growth seems promising, supportive people/environment, constantly learning new things

Cons

Biggest con: Experienced analysts are overwhelmed with too much to handle and new hires aren't given the needed attention/training to feel valuable. Other cons: Location, very steep learning curve and minimal training, MUST be able to figure things out for yourself, emphasis is placed on work/life balance but (practically) it doesn't always happen (e.g. 9/80 schedule, mod time, etc.), huge age gap (90%+ are baby boomer generation) and few new hires make it difficult to relate/learn, have left for the day feeling down/bad about myself on multiple occassions
