Not a great work atmosphere

Pros

Good benefits package and great that they have 9/80 work schedule and the paid holiday shutdown at the end of the year.

Cons

Management is old school. Time in grade more important than performance. "beatings will continue until morale improves" mentality. Have benefits like 9/80 and then management ignores and schedules meetings on the off friday. More about the money instead of balanced work/life. Pay is not on par with the industry.

Pros

401k PTO is available in January Flex schedule - 9/80

Cons

management doesn't foster career growth and learning promotions are non-existant - continuously moving the goal post and ambiguous feedback during reviews raises are small

Pros

- Emphasis on Diversity - Many opportunities - Majority of the people tend to be very good

Cons

- Discussing retention constantly but having black and white rules for adjusting compensation - so many people who were college hires are paid significantly below what their value is. It becomes a financial burden to stay. - You get hired to "design" and all of the real design work goes to a very few select few due to not wanting to train new talent. - Negativity towards internal transfers - Lack of funding for training. This is a huge ethical violation and leads many to quickly go through online modules to meet their requirements. - Culture that really does not value the employee - breeds resentment amongst many. Record profits every year yet more and more things get cut. - There is not much done to the "bad apples" and poor leadership repeats constantly
