Pros

- job security, once you're in you're set for life

Cons

- no diversity, lots of subtle racism (brought this up to HR and team leads and they did not care) - work is simple, you'll spend a lot of time sitting around fixing grammar errors - no recognition for people who go above and beyond besides a ppt with your name on it - pay is not competitive - no one wants to teach anything, severe lack of communication - workplace is OLD and dreary - no team or coworker interaction, no sense of community

Pros

You need a job desperatly

Cons

Mismanagement at the upper levels that they make the employees fault. If you’re a National Guardsman... be prepared to be threatened if you don’t use PTO for drill and military absences. The way to get promoted is to leave.

Pros

Raytheon gave me a strong platform to springboard into my career's future growth. The potential for growth is immense! Programs will see completely different cultures based on your direct leadership, or roughly 2 layers of it at least. I was lucky to land in a fantastic crowd! If I had stayed I would no doubt be snowballing in to a great career. Unfortunately, pay did not increase rapidly enough for me to consider staying.

Cons

Work culture and humanity in general is stagnant and fully dependent on your social skills. Raytheon doesn't provide anything worth mentioning to promote basic work place happiness. Free coffee is almost so extreme an idea that they spin it that the company will financially go bankrupt if it provided free coffee to employees.
