Pros

Raytheon is a very big company so your career can really be what you make of it. Each site and division is different. So you may have to be willing to move around to really grow. As with any big company, some sites are better than others. If you find a site that suits your skill sets and interests you can enjoy a growing career. Benefits are very good and work schedule is fairly flexible

Cons

It is easy to get stuck or pigeon holed into a particular program that may have dying technologies.

Pros

In general they respect the employees. Everyone that I worked with got along and all worked together to make a success. They encourage employee development and emphasize ethics.

Cons

Reviews only differentiate employees when supervision/management intends to take some kind of action on them in the near future. (Intended promotion or warning to improve performance.) This results in poorly performing employees being retained for many years and good ones being let go.

there is a definate 'old boys' network in place and it has nothing to do with gender, it has to do with new vs. old timers.
