Flexible work schedule, 9/80 program, diversified culture. You can find people come to work for Raytheon from over the world.

Cons

Too political. You must socialize or have connection to survive rounds of layoff. Same thing when there's no much work to do, if you are your boss's buddy then chance you always have work to do.

Relatively easy to move around and work on different projects. Proactive behavior is generally rewarded. People are nice. Job is stable. Hours are normal.

Cons

Given size of company, politics is huge. Difficult to be agile and to make decisions since everything has to go through a process. Some engineers who have been with the company for a long time refuse to accept change.
