Bad management makes it hard for Generation Y.

Pros

Flexible work hours. Good benefits, pay, and 401k contribution.

Cons

Lack of innovation and creativity. The work environment is very plain. Culture in the company is all about collecting a paycheck. The company acts like they care about trust, respect, and diversity but these don't seem to be enforced where it matters. Managers aren't evaluated from upper management or employees.

Pros

benefit better than other DOD contractors PTOs Good working environment. Try to get on IRAD if possible as you will get the best experience possible.

Cons

layoff policy is standard, but still could have been more open about it. The site was top-heavy and the recent layoff took care of that and maybe more chance for advancement now.

Pros

9/80 work week, 401k, and paid holidays are great. People are professional. Can learn a lot if you can get on R&D projects. Salary is competitive, but not great. Managers are friendly. Great work/life balance.

Cons

Management tells you what you want to hear. Very political. People that have been with company for a while are disgruntled. Promotions are very rare - seem to go to "favored" employees. Business development has a difficult time getting more work (lay offs). Diversity-centric mindset is annoying.
