Pros

Stable work, merit bonuses on occasion, learning encouraged, nice education reimbursement.

Cons

Can be slow-moving, and it all depends on the contracts that are out there. Moving to a new group or getting promoted can take a while depending on the group that you are in. Work life balance can depend on your group and the time of year.

Nice new work area. Flexible work hours are a plus. They're seem to be a lot of new opportunities available there.

Cons

Very cheap in some areas. Little to no mentorship when you're first coming in. Sometimes meetings and mandatory training are sometimes expected to be done on our own time.
