Pros

Smart engineers and there’s room to grow and learn. I like Raytheon’s technology. Good benefits and decent pay. Job stability.

Cons

Red tape with government clearances. Sometimes work can be boring. Cafeteria is not good. could set the bar higher and hire even better engineers from great school.

Pros

I must have got lucky as I was paired with a young, ambitious manager, who was also very technically competent and passionate about system and embedded software. I started here out of college and was put on a team using the most expensive development tools and with dedicated engineers to the development process and testing. In less than year my skills increased greatly as I was put on development projects creating whole components from the bottom up. Your mileage may vary.

Cons

Compensation is low, but I guess it is to expected at these kind of companies.

Pros

Good benefits, they cut healthcare to only hsa plans. Free dental, 401k matching, PTO is 3 weeks after 1st year, etc.

Cons

Bad management can ruin your life. Admittedly there was some help from upper management, but the experience here has been bad.
