Pros

I had good mentors and I was given opportunities to lead and grow at Raytheon. Compensation was good too. Worked a few good programs, some bad ones.

Cons

Too much bureaucracy, very risk adverse environment.

Pros

Starting salary for college hires is competitive with industry standard. benefits are great and cover alot. 401k match is alright, but could be better. Education benefits is very nice and pays for my entire part time tuition

Cons

Promotions are hard to come by, as well as raises. alot of work for little reward. management doesn't seem to hire internally for section heads, technical leads, and department heads. Raytheon is undergoing a brain drain where most experienced engineers are retiring and leaving without training college hires.
