      Job security, slow pace, lots of opportunity to learn

      Very old group of engineers, typically stuck in antiquated ways of thinking. Rank and stack PD cycle means that you likely wont get promoted in your first year in a position, no matter how well you perform. Off-cycle promotions do not happen except for extremely rare circumstances.
