Pros

SAP has the best consultants in the world. They are the most knowledgeable and innovative I've ever worked with.

Cons

Upper management has become a good ole boys club. This was not always the case and I hope it will some day go back to a place where collaboration with employess at all levels is valued.

Pros

Open culture; Leadership team is focussed on issues to be fixed not on politics - SAP is, compared to other employers, a company with relatively low levels of politics Global Opportunities are open on all levels - leadership team is committed to run the company with a global team, not as a kind of centralized hub& spoke system Executive Board consists of five nationalities, Different career paths possible - technical & management

Cons

Compensation for Garduates too low Employer branding at campus very low No good opportunities for MBA, its an engineering company SOme departments are really still too 'German" in their thinking and approach, though it got better ove rthe last years Innovation cycles are too long - from idea to productizaton; Diversity: Asia is often a bit neglected when it comes to participation in global or regional top management

Pros

respect for employees, excellent benefits, good salaries, recognition for hard work and time invested

Cons

the most extensive "meeting" culture I've ever seen in a 20-year career - I could spend 60 hours a week in meetings if I accepted all my invitations; as a global organization, the workday can extend from early morning hours to connect with the European colleagues all the way to very late nights to connect with the APJ (SIngapore, Australia) colleagues
