Pros

- Being able to be who you really are at work, due to the open diversity and culture. - Management believes we should be transparent both ways. - Fantastic Benefits besides health and dental insurance compared with other IT companies. (i.e. transit passes paid by SAP, Personal Spending Account, etc) - Company and management that supports your future career development, even if you plan to move or transition to a different department at SAP. - Being able to take online and classroom courses paid by SAP to keep your knowledge up to date. - Helpful and friendly colleagues since we believe in working as one SAP team and not in Silos.

- Flex hours (I work 7-3 most days) - Best tools for the stuff we work on - Challenging work - Good management - Reasonable expectations - Friendly people - Competitive compensation

Cons

- Politics slow down movement - Lots of tiered management - They send people managers to technical conferences and training courses with the intent that they return and teach the technical staff which rarely works well. - Just a job to most developers (this isn't necessarily a bad thing for most, I'm a passionate person who thinks about the stuff we are building all the time find it a bit demotivating when none of my colleagues want to talk about it)
