      Thank you for the review which seems to be for SPAR Ireland, not SPAR International, a separate company. Unfortunately Glassdoor doesn’t seem to be able to separate our independent companies. We tried.

      Pros

      The staff at Spar in NI where i live are very friendly and treat each other like family.

      Cons

      The management are very slow and think only of themselves often employing staff who are lazy and disrupt the good working environment that the company has had.

      Very good company for part-time work

      Pros

      This was my first ever job. The stores are lovely to work in and, even as a member of the front-line staff, you're made to feel important to the company.

      Cons

      The job is very repetitive and, here in Ireland, it's usually paid at minimum-wage.
