Pros

Can be good and rewarding if you get the right role and manager. Some decent benefits. Big company so not bad to have on your CV.

Cons

Salary isn't as good as it used to be. Cobalt offices are dreadful. OKR process is meaningless. Random redundancies - you never know who's next.

Pros

Good benefits overall. Opportunities to work away for up to 4-6 weeks during the year If you live in South Dublin, office is convenient and has parking for employees 5 paid days of charity during the year

Cons

Micro management (pressure on managers to do so) Preaching engagement and transparency with employees but it is not real nor useful. Example: surveys for employees on how we feel and like Sage that don't really accomplish anything Salaries are not competitive and quite small raise over the year Big focus on business and profit, small focus on employee and improving conditions / work environment The back to office (3 days per week) has been so badly handled. Now the company is monitoring IP addresses to advise managers to check on team members People are leaving or getting redundancies but no hiring back to replace positions needed, which creates additional work for those staying
