      One of the best companies slighting shifting to pure performance culture

      Pros

      I've been with Salesforce for moe than 5 years and the relationship of an employee to its employer is very well defined here. The compensation along with benefits outweigh any losses incurred on working with bad tech stack

      Cons

      Since last year after layoffs, the company culture has drastically changed, and its going more and more downhill.

      Great place to be

      Pros

      This is only the 2nd company that I've been with for over 5 years, Dell is the second. They treat employees at all levels as people, not just assets to be moved around. They have been very accommodating when I took month medical leave of absence last year, and this year for a hospital stay. My disabilities are taken seriously by my manager and Principal Engineer.

      Cons

      It's not a perfect company. But, my complaints are few. No free food for the technical staff, though I have suggested it in my most recent local office survey.
