Pros

-The product is amazing, nothing to say against. -The sales cycle is interest, many things to learn every day. -I want to believe that your experience and opinion about the company depends on the team you’ll be working in. -Health insurance and 5k to spend on a course per year. -Plenty of opportunities to grow.

Cons

-You basically can’t trust people in your own team cause they will find the way to steal your accounts and opportunities. -People are selfish and self-focused, they won’t help you unless they will get something in return. -If you are an Account Executive and you want to spend time with an SDR, you will be judged cause they hate each other (worse than a kindergarten). -No balance at all between work life and private life: you are asked to work at weekends, work at night after entire days in the office, work during bank holidays (well, bank holidays are not allowed). Allowed to take days off only in August and February. In some teams like mine you can’t even work from home. -You have to travel abroad 3/4 times per month and they want you to take flights at dawn or at night cause “you can’t lose working hours”. -One of the best values is volunteering - guess what? Underestimated and not taken for real in my team. -Managers only care about numbers, you are not a person at all. -People underestimate people working in other companies cause they feel they are the best but they are so poor and sad inside. -If people leave cause they feel bad, the other “teammates” and managers will make fun of them. -Micromanagement: your manager will expect to be cc’d in every single email you send to your customers.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Creating a great workplace culture is important to us, and what you describe is counter to that. I know that this can be a fast-paced environment, but we want our employees to prioritize a healthy work-life balance, and we don't want anyone to feel like they have to exceed maximum working hours or work through holidays. I would like to learn more about your situation to address the issues you have described. Please contact our third-party provider Ethicspoint at http://www.salesforce.ethicspoint.com/ to share more detail anonymously. Thank you for helping us be a better workplace.

Pros

Cool offices, generous benefits, and financially stable

Cons

I led and worked for different teams at Salesforce for almost 4 years and of course, the experience could depend on the team and who you work with... But regardless of the team and despite all the sweet talk about the ohana culture, your number one goal should be to watch your back at Salesforce! It's the most political and backstabbing culture I've ever seen, especially the frat boys of the marketing. Stephine Buscemi says so many sweet things but in reality, nothing is changed.

Pros

Ohana! This applies only If you are in the right department/team and have competent manager. I see this on other teams with better leaders. So I know it does exist. - CEO - Benefits - Salesforce Platform (hands down the best and only getting better.)

Cons

- Middle management - Politics - My experience as a whole and expectations has been sadly the biggest disappointment of my career. Maybe because I didn’t realize this company is all smoke and mirrors. - Management can make or break the experience. In my case, my manager single handily destroyed my actual dream job and crushed my career dreams at Salesforce that I was so passionate about. - The endless micro-management and lack of TRUST - My contributions to the team and to our customers is overlooked and undervalued. It does not matter how much you contribute or knowledgeable of the platform to make customers happy you are, it will not be valued unless you suck up to management. - The middle management I have interacted with is useless. They only show up to collect a paycheck. - Feed back app is used to gauge employee and manager. Although if you give management actual feedback via app or survey with anything negative, you will receive retaliation. - 1:1 meetings are one direction (for managers) and not the employee.
