Pros

Onboarding is amazing (training, enablement, Bootcamp...), work-life balance is second to none, and client interactions are very high-level when you come with Salesforce name on your business card. Of course there is always room for improvement, but as a seasoned professional (18 years), I can tell it's an incredible place to work for on many aspects and there is not a single day that I regret my choice

Cons

It might be challenging to evolve in an environment with such a rich offer that keeps growing with time. Skills to develop are not just Sales ones, but also Consultative Selling. Resilience is kee, patience is mandatory... It takes time, can be frustrating, but we never get bored

Damaged work culture

Office location. Trip to San Fransisco for training.

Cons

Toxic environment in the Melbourne office. Bullying is accepted and tolerated.

Treatment of employees from acquired companies

Pros

I have nothing positive to say about Salesforce's acquisition team

Cons

Salesforce talks about the aloha spirit and embracing all new employees from acquired companies. This is not the case. Salesforce disrespected me as a member of the existing management team during our acquisition time, but they had no issues in demanding an excessive amount of my time for information during the acquisition process.

It's disheartening to hear that you had a less than ideal experience during the transition. We put a great deal of thought and planning into an acquisition. During the process, we actively prioritize the employees joining our Ohana. Seamless integration is a journey and not always a perfect one but we're working to improve the process.
