      Unreal... It's like a cult

      Pros

      - office locations are in downtown - any tool you need (laptop/Mac, iPad, iPhone, etc.)if you need it for your job, ask and you shall receive - free food & drinks on all floors: cereal, crackers, candies, granola bars, soda, fizzy water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate - rigorous recruitment and selection process = you're surrounded by brilliant people from the support staff all the way up to the management - happy customers (even those who have issues) would convince you that you joined a great company that they would even be willing to sleep in a tent just to be at the annual Dreamforce event! - everyone at work seems really happy to be working here - competitive benefits and compensation - structured & unstructured training - promote from within

      Cons

      - mostly work at the office instead of work from home - territories get shuffled frequently based on fiscal year, promotions, etc. it would be great if there's consistency with the territory, it's challenging to build your region only to be plucked from your patch the next round of territory adjustments - nothing else at this time

      Pros

      * Great, hardworking, intelligent people. * Enthusiastic Managers * Decent PTO and VTO opportunities * Snacks-- Coconut water, nutrition bars, organics-- pretty much anything your heart desires * Terrific resume builder-- I love this job-- but I have recruiters from top companies almost daily * Great training-- we work really hard here-- but when I look at how much I've learned over the last few years-- I am truly astounded-- and very thankful for the opportunity to work here

      Cons

      * It's very political-- make the right friends * Clique-y-- sometimes it feels like high school * Smaller territories-- they keep shrinking-- and the quotas keep rising * Compensation is decent but not competitive with a lot of offers for similar roles in the area (but if this is an issue-- see my pros-- you won't have a hard time making more money elsewhere) * Can feel a little boiler room

      The worst work of my life

      Pros

      Benioff is a genius. Company is doing fantastic. The sales and marketing groups are top notch. Great stock price. Casual work environment, working from home benefits, in SF.

      Cons

      I know some departments are really good. I just had this misfortune of working in two of the worst managed departments in the organization. Poor poor management. Dysfunction, Politics, Dis-information, self-delusions. The claim of being scrum is a scam. Gossip and back stabbing rule the day. The worst place I have ever worked.
