      Pros

      Salesforce is a great place to work. I feel very productive as an engineer, management is very supportive, and the location and benefits are great.

      Cons

      Occasionally guidance from senior management for my team has been somewhat muddled, but overall there are very few downsides in working at Salesforce.

      Great Product Incredible insight to competition Great collaboration across all areas of company

      Cons

      Poor first line sales management Favoritism - best accounts and territory not assigned fairly Limited or no chance for advancement Transactional focus - no long term customer relationship focus - AEs penalized if they don't close deals ASAP vs focus on the long term deal Focus on hiring lots of AEs not on quality of deals - beginning to look like old Siebel days of postage stamp territories, lots of turnover, and unsatisfied clients
