Pros

The top reasons to work at salesforce.com are the people and the environment you work in. It is a very young and outgoing culture internally and it promotes a great camaraderie internally and outside of the company.

Cons

As the company has begun to grow into a large Enterprise company there has been less of a focus on employee growth and more of a focus on company success. Internal promotion has become political and long-winded.

Pros

-Innovative company where people actually strive to make CRM better and more intuitive instead of just adding needless bells and whistles. -Competitive salaries make it worth working 12 hours per day. -The company is very young and it shows in the energy around campus. -If you are looking for a place to show your creativeness and innovation then Salesforce is the right place for you. Product management solicits feedback from the employees to make the product better. They are genuinely interested in what the customer has to say. The fact that the Idea Exchange is one of the main drivers for product enhancements shows that Salesforce.com cares about the customer.

Cons

-Typical struggles of a fast growing company. -Old School Employees vs. New Employees mentality. There is a strange dichotomy between veterans and newbies (I am considered someone that joined in the middle - 3 years). -At times you get the sense that upper management might only be out for the stock price. -Divisions are very silo-ed and there is not a ton of communication or full company interaction. -Management and Training needs to do a better job of communicating new features and functionality to all levels. -I find that the work/life balance tends to sway heavily towards the work side.
