Pros

-fun culture, still working to maintain some of the startup vibe despite not being a big player in the market -talks the talk about equality and for the most part walks it but the lack of women in management and Sr Leadership roles is obvious -this is not something Salesforce can change overnight but at least they aren't afraid of the conversation

Cons

-go get promoted, it is very challenging for working moms and parents in general to have a good work life balance -too much self promotion needed to get promoted vs looking at people's actual work because of Salesforce's culture

Pros

Standard perks of working for a Silicon Valley-based company (micro-kitchens with free drinks and snacks, free coffee from baristas, wellness reimbursement, volunteer time off, etc), top of the line pay, options to work from home (depending on role), and decent opportunities for career advancement.

Cons

For as much as SFDC prides itself on their corporate culture (it is admirable), it doesn't actually apply in reality, at least for support-based roles. This satellite office is almost never visited by upper management (directors and above) and they have absolutely zero clue about the day-to-day operations. The business analytics are TERRIBLE, so teams are regularly forced to neglect a healthy work/life balance to compensate for leadership that simply asks too much, doesn't organize, won't hire, and doesn't listen. Great product, and I definitely had high hopes when joining, but this place is a soul sucker and you're better off taking less and being happier elsewhere.
