Pros

Good strategy on the paper, interesting field of business. - Commodity Trade Finance

Cons

Extremely bureaucratic, low level of corporate banking experience (at senior level), poor communication and management skillsf (middle and senior management). Overconfidence of the management, “soviet mentality” – we are big that is why we are good, corporate culture of intrigues

Pros

The people you work with on a daily basis (PO, BA, SA, Devs, QAs), they are good both Russians and Indians. I would have said pay if below points were false, 1. Salary structure is bad. 2. The Bonus that they brag about depends on the no of leaves you are taking from your own earned leaves. 3. No body exactly knows how bonus is calculated

Cons

0. All the 5 star ratings you see here are from before Jun 2025, If you really wanna know about the current state of the org read recent reviews only! 1. No employee friendly policies. 2. They have built an office very basic, few benches and chairs thats all there is, no windows, no cafeteria nothing, YET they brag about building a "state of the art" facility. Its an IT development centre and there are no monitors (hope this gives an idea). 3. They have fixated a particular time when you should come and leave, like a school (Some of us even joked about introducing prayers at 10:30AM) 4. No one here takes leaves as you will receive less bonus. where as our Russian counter parts go on weeks long vacations every 6months. Which means no one cares about your wellbeing here. 5. Imagine working in an 183 years old org and you can't ask for better laptop, headphone, monitors or any such things, no one cares about your productivity too. 6. All the Indian management cares about is pleasing Russian management, apparently they are only pleased when the office is full lately. This Organisation is all about show if something is to be captured and sent to Russia, they spend freely. We are direct employees too, but they make you feel like you are here as a contractor. If you can join Sber Bank in Russia, may be its the best there. But do not join in INDIA. At present every (PO, BA, SA, Devs, QAs) in India is unhappy with the management.

Pros

Pathetic company and pathetic policies ... Too much red-tapism. For even taking a single leave ,you may need to take Approvals even from President of india it seems . There are three people you have to take approvals from your PO , then send a mail , apply on an application and finally sign a hardcopy printout of the leave form and submit . WFH- They want everyone to follow strict work timings that is from 9-11 am and then spend a complete day and leave only around 4.30-6.30 pm which means again both evening and morning so they expect everyone to spend around 2-4 hours more for travel minimum, just because they managed to buy a new shiny office .

Cons

All the cons have been added to the Pros section since there are no Pros . I will continue the Cons here 1) Management does not care a bit about employees just pretends that , the bureacracy to take a simple leave is just mind boggling 2) Changing and devising a new policy/rule everyday to just be consistently be disconnected from the ground realities and employee problem 3) I challenge managenment to take an anonymous survey across organisation amongst the Engineers , you will get to know that they do not want and everyone will start looking for exit from the organisation. 4) I had joined an year back and the policies here changes anytime and without any regards for Employees well being
