I've been taught that if you don't have anything good to say don't say it. There are cons but these are shared by many corporations and not something the organization should be ashamed of.
Acquisition by Dell and consequences. A big issue here was the acquisition by Dell. All accounts from before that time tell of startup mentality. This was before my time. But alas the problem here is that being acquired by a big corp like Dell you run into a lot of red tape. This has significantly stunted the growth from a technology standpoint.
Silent layoffs and lack of transparency. There have been massive lay offs in the past year. None of these are communicated out and mostly heard about through word of mouth. This has a lot to do with the technology debt they face with being tied up with obligations to work with certain vendors (Dell mostly). Instead of having the ability to move freely.
Like Eastman Kodak back during the digital revolution, the executive staff were afraid of trying new things. Unfortunately it has caught up to them big time.
