I endured an extremely toxic work environment characterized by stagnant progress, a lack of appreciation for talent, and a pervasive hire-and-fire culture. To make matters worse, there was no exit package provided. Despite being a consistent star performer who successfully completed numerous projects on time and within budget, my experience was marred by a toxic manager who seemed threatened by my achievements. This eventually led to my departure from the company due to a downsizing following an acquisition. It's disheartening to reflect on this experience, especially in light of the company's professed values, which ultimately proved to be empty rhetoric.
