      I have an enormous amount of pride in working for Siemens. Firstly, there is the incredible heritage and strength in the global brand of Siemens, that gives you a great platform to engage with customers, succeed in what you wish to achieve, and a unique opportunity to build a great network of colleagues across the globe who together are all focussed on providing the highest quality of ingenuity and solution to our markets Secondly, there are the values and standards as a business to ensure primarily heath, wellbeing and safety of yourself and colleagues is the number one priority. This is coupled with a strive for greater awareness of diversity and environmental impact that we make as Siemens And finally, the opportunity and encouragement to be entrepreneurial and lead your business area as well as the people within it to continually improve and be better

      Unfortunately Change doesn’t really happen unless the bottom line is affected, change Siemens by leaving.

      Pros

      The package is competitive. There is flexibility in the work place. I believe rightly or wrongly the MD of the UK cares about his employees wellbeing, it is just he is so detached he doesn’t see the management below him in only one or two levels not really supporting that sentiment.

      Cons

      You can never stop doing your old role and the company puts pressure on you until you actually break. Only when that happens do they take interest and that doesn’t last long until it is back to the same situation. The support functions such as HR are not engaged to monitor these things and support the management in the divisions. When you try to make use of the external support Siemens offers it is poor at best and doesn’t help. It is there to tick a box, which sums Siemens up.
